Our Impact
Lead by example, move by results, and never make excuses. Inspiring our youth of all ages that self elevation is essential in life; school, trade, or entrepreneurship. Continuous engagement and resources will allow us to share valuable knowledge and tips to witness our youth accomplish milestones. Everyone will face different obstacles, but perseverance will help you prevail. Do not cheat yourself, you owe you!
2020
January: We held presentations to kickstart our organizations' journey, spot lighting our high school and collegiate experiences. The entire ALLIN team were college students or received a trade certificate.
March: We facilitated our first homeless giveaway which entailed passed out meals to those in need throughout the Peoria, IL area.
April: We awarded a student a laptop through our scholarship fund.
May: We gave away an education scholarship to a student (incoming freshman) that planned on pursuing a college degree during the 2020-2021 calendar year.
August: We held our first annual back-to-school bash that helped us giveaway 125 book bags filled with necessities like school supplies to help our youth be ready for the school year.
- We started our ALLIN Mentorship Program that allows us to be positive role models to high schoolers within the Peoria area. We engage with numerous activities such as volunteering, visiting colleges, presentations at the middle schools, etc.
August: We hosted our first annual ALLIN Pop-Up shop at Laura Bradley park. The event brung 25 local entrepreneurs together to showcase their products to 300+ visitors.
September-November: We hosted presentations for students throughout Peoria District 150 - we informed the students on how we can be utilized as a resource, finances, and how to excel throughout their collegiate career.
December: We hosted our first annual ALLIN Holiday Miracle in which we adopted 5 families from the Salvation Army. We were able to fulfill all of their Christmas list and created a meaningful relationship with them.
2021
January: We prepped letters to the children’s hospital that we plan on sending out in February.
February: We partnered with Lincoln Middle School for Black History and encouraged the students to create posters to symbolize something in black history (i.e, Jackie Robinson. Kobe Bryant, Muhammad Ali)
March: We took the students in the ALLIN Mentorship Program on a college trip to the University of Missouri.
April: We visited Lincoln Middle Schooler and shared insight information regarding finances and improved mindsets through chess. We took the students in the ALLIN Mentorship Program on a college trip to the University of Iowa.
May: We gave away 10 laptops, 3 scholarships to students at Peoria High, and 1 scholarship to students looking to further education. We provided approximately $7,000 in funding to the students.
June: We held our first 5K race at Donovan Park. We partnered with Peoria Grown to volunteer at their cooking classes, market 309, and wellness event.
July: We partnered with the Boys & Girls Club to help facilitate their fourth of July event. We volunteered at the Backpack Peoria event at the Dream Center that helped provide thousands of backpacks to students in the community.
August: We held our second annual back-to-school bash that helped us giveaway 200+ book bags filled with necessities like school supplies to help our youth be ready for the school year.
September-November: We hosted webinars for students within our community to tell them our story and different activities. We started our partnered with Trewyn Middle School where we visited 4 times throughout the year. Students at Trewyn Middle School were taken to Methodist College to learn about nursing from professors, students, and academic counselors.
November: We hosted our first ALLIN Toiletries Drive and through the help from the community we were able to provide Peoria Dream Center and the Peoria Rescue Mission with more than 5,000 individual items. We took the students in the ALLIN Mentorship Program on a college visit to Eastern Illinois University.
December: We hosted our second Christmas giveaway that allowed us to adopt 30 students from Easter Seals Learning Academy. We were able to fulfill all their Christmas list, purchased brand new Adaptive PE equipment, and provided a meaning relationship with the school.
